Soooo...I finally took pictures of my bedroom since we redecorated it. Also, I bought some new decor for the mantle about 2 months ago and I don't think I posted that either?!!? Anyways, here are the before pics of our bedroom:

Bad News Bears

Soooooooo....I have my first official injury from playing soccer. I guess I'm just grateful that I held out for almost 2 seasons before getting hurt! I think some girl kicked me in my ankle during the game yesterday. It didn't all the sudden hurt, it just got worse as the game went on and towards the end of the game I couldn't even run on it! BLAH! It was so sad because I wanted to play so bad! By the time I got home I couldn't walk on my right foot at all. I put ice on it all night last night and when I woke up this morning it felt worse. So, I made the trip to the doctor (BOOOO!!!) and had x-rays done. Not broken or fractured thankgoodness! But it is bruised and the nerves are aggravated. And apparently it is swelling on the inside. And the doctor told me the worst thing I could have done was put heat or ice on it. GO FIGURE!!! So I spent most of today (90%) with my foot elevated on like 4 pillows. That got old after about 2 hours. I have crutches to hobble around on and I have never used crutches before so it has not been cool! I'm going to try to go to work tomorrow---I cannot sit on the couch again ALL DAY! AHHHHHH!!!!!

Not Much To Report

Unfortunately, this week has been kind of long and boring. I don't have much to talk about!!!! But I do want to say this: NEVER buy anything from this store www.dickssportinggoods.com . I bought Brian a pair of ski pants from there about 4 weeks ago for graduation. They were a screaming deal and I was really excited about it! To make a long story short, I've had to call these people about 8 times (seriously), I've had two pair of ski pants delivered to my house only to be returned because they were the wrong size (yes..both times!) I've been charged incorrectly on two occasions and here it is over a month later and I still have no ski pants!!! I got to the point on Thursday night where I really almost didn't care anymore and was really just going to give up. And of course every time that I have called them its a different person. But of course I have a stubborn streak in me so I am determined to get the CORRECT pants that I ordered a month ago. Then I will say good riddance to these people and NEVER buy anything from them again. On a more positive note, we are going to the lake today with Brian's family so I will get to water ski and I am super excited about that! I will take lots of pics today! YAY for the Lake!!!!! =)

Baby Teeth

I'm pretty sure that this is normal b/c I googled it but I wanted to ask all you dog owners just in case. I have found 3 of Moses' baby teeth (at least I think they are baby teeth) tonight. The first one actually fell out while we were playing with one of his toys. The other two I found laying on the floor throughout the night. It said on the internet that puppies lose their baby teeth anywhere from 3-6 months. He is 5 months so he's right on target. It's very strange to find teeth lying around your house though! I feel like I'm really grossing out Kelly K right now...HAHA!!! =) So...dog owners, did you ever find random puppy teeth lying around your house??????

Moses and Kafka

A week or so ago, Sabrina and Josh came over and brought Kafka to play with Moses. We have been wanting to socialize him so he can get comfortable around other dogs. Now, Kafka is a girl dog and quite a few years older than Moses. She is so sweet and laid back. They played really well together outside and chased eachother around. When we went inside though, Moses got a little territorial and wasn't very nice to poor Kafka!! We are going to have to continue trying to socialize Moses so he can be nice to other dogs!!! Anyways, we grilled out and played scattegories..fun fun!!!

Camping Trip

Here are some pics of our camping trip. It rained the entire time Friday night so not good for my first camping experience. Poor Moses was in the rain 90% of the time on Friday night. Not a good time for him either. He's mainly an indoor dog and we have to literally push him to the grass when its raining outside to make him go to the bathroom! We did have a lot of fun on Saturday when the weather cleared up. Lots of good food and fun with friends! I told Brian that I am willing to try camping one more time and give it a fair shot since this one was kind of miserable.

The Week

So, its been a pretty busy week. I started painting our baseboards on Monday. I'm trying to get that finished before we get our new carpet. I have a new found love for Meatloaf! Meatloaf has always sounded disgusting to me but after talking to some people at work, I decided to try to make it and now I love it! So easy to make! Brian really likes it too. We have had it twice already in like the last month. Someone told me yesterday at work that there was a big gash in my tire in the parking lot. So around 11, I went down there and my tire was completely flat and had a huge gash in it! So Brian ran around town all afternoon to try to get a new tire and the tire guy told him that I would have HAD to hit something for my tire to explode like that. Well, I do run into curbs on a pretty regular basis but other than that I swear that I didn't hit ANYTHING!!! I'm not sure that Brian believes me though!!! haha. For anyone that has ever ridden with me, you guys know what a GREAT driver I am =) We are going camping on Friday night. This will be my first time to sleep in a tent. I'm not much of a wilderness girl so this should be interesting. Brian is really hoping that I enjoy myself b/c he loves to camp and wants to meet some friends of ours to go camping and float the buffalo in July. I told him that this will be the trial run for any future camping trips. I'll take lots of pictures and post them this weekend sometime. Here is a picture of us at this time last year. I was short and blonde! lol.

Happy Anniversary To Us!!!

3 years. cannot believe that we have been married for 3 years. Where has the time gone? It has been so wonderful though. We have grown so much and have had so many exciting times. First apartment, first full-time job (me), first house, first dog, first college graduation..craziness!!! We kind of celebrated all week. Our actual anniversary was Tuesday, May 22nd. On Monday night we went to Madame Woo's. BEST chinese food in Fayetteville if you ask me. Then on Tuesday I grilled steak, made cheesy potatoes, and veggies. Did a pretty good job if I may say so!! Then we went out to eat tonight (friday night) at Chili's. Then we went to Home Depot and ordered us some new carpet for our house!!!! Super Excited about that! We both have been dying for new carpet. Now that Moses is completely potty trained it is time! I have learned to appreciate nice carpet now that I have had trashy carpet. By the way...our carpet was trashy when we moved in, its not b/c of the dog. I also have redecorated our bedroom and the next time I make my bed (might be a while), I will take some "after" pictures and post them. We did get eachother some gifts but they didn't really work out so I will post

pics of the new gifts once we get them! haha..at least we are honest with eachother! Anways..happy 3 years baby! I love you! =)

Brian's Graduation!!!!!!!!!

We passed a milestone on May 12--Brian graduated college!! He received his Bachelor of Science in Education, Kinesiology k-12 teaching. I'm so proud of him..he also graduated with a 3.65!!!! And because of his awesome hard work and wonderful charm..he received 2 scholarships for his MAT program (Masters of Arts in Teaching) that he will start this summer. Lucky for us, this masters program is only 1 year long. So this time next year, he will be completely finished with school. But I know his Masters will help him be better prepared, make more money, and help him with future opportunities. Great Job Hunny!!! =)

Mother's Day

Meg and I have the most awesome mom ever!!! So we took her out one day to Red Lobster for lunch and then to get pedicures and manicures. We also bought her a cross windchime. We don't get to see her as much as we would like so we celebrated Mother's Day while she was in town and we were all together. Yay for pedicures and Red Lobster biscuits =)

Dogwood Walk

My mom and I took Moses to the Dogwood Walk a couple of weeks ago. It was put on by the Humane Society and they were giving all this free stuff away to the first 150 registered dogs. My friend talked to this lady at the Humane Society and she had said that they never even have 150 sign up so we shouldn't have to get there really early to get a free goody bag. Registration starts at 9:00 am, we get there at 9:10 am and all the goodie bags are gone!!! The only reason we went was for the free stuff and it was all gone before 9:00. How sad!!! So then we tried to walk around and look at the all the booths but the wind is blowing like crazy, there are like 100 dogs all trying to sniff and attack eachother and my dog is going crazy and I got a stress headache in like 3 minutes. They had free nail clipping and I tried to at least get that done but the girl doing it cut Moses's nail too short and made him bleed!! So then I got REALLY UPSET and stressed out. So we did a walk around the park, took a few pictures and we were out of there by 10:00!!! I will NEVER go to another even that involves 100 other dogs EVER again!! It was a nightmare! But he did look super cute in his Lei (sp) that he got!!! =)

Meg's Graduation

So....meg's graduation was stinkin' 2 hours and 45 minutes!!!! John Ashcroft was the speaker and Brian and I were really excited about that. But when he started speaking we both looked at eachother after about 10 minutes and realized that this guy was way over our heads and we didn't understand anything he was talking about!!! So we took a nice little nap on eachother for the remainder of the speech!! I thought I got a pic of Meg walking across the stage to get her diploma but turns out it was the girl in front of her who was like 6 feet tall and there is no way I could pretend that was Meg..so oh well! We just stayed for the day in Springfield and then came home. Fun little trip and we got one of the Miller children graduated..=)

So, long time, no post. Sorry guys! Just haven't made the time to do it!!! Well, the dates showing on these pictures are not right at all!! This is from the beginning of May. We went to Springfield for my sis's graduation (megan). We went to Roadhouse for my dad's birthday. Its been a really long time since the whole family has been together so it was very exciting!!!
