The main reason I wanted to write this post is to let you know that GOD is peace. He wants us to have peace in every situation. One of the greatest fruits of the spirit is Peace. We go through trials in order for our peace to be strengthened. Satan is constantly trying to steal it from us because it is the easiest way for us to NOT focus on Jesus.
"EaSy way to Lose Peace"
Spill your huge razorback cup full of MILK in the laundry room at 7:15 in the morning on your way to work. Then that milk knocks your sausage biscuit on the floor which your dogs begins to eat, that he throws up five minutes later. BAD DAY!
We laugh at stories like this all the time but the truth is there are normally circumstances that happen several times a day that try to steal our peace. You think that is an accident? No way jose! Satan knows that he has power over you when you lose your peace, and that is why God thought it be so important to teach about it so often.
Psalm 119: 165
Please take the time today to read this verse and realize that God is peace and it is easy to have peace in front of others outside your circle, but to have peace is to have it in front of those you are most comfortable with.
